MY FRIEND LUKE FERNANDO SORRENTINO TRANSLATED

SYNOPSIS

The story is a one of million that have tell to us about friend.  In this story, Fernando has a friend who is brittle and ancient (Luke).  Luke is sweetest, shyest person in the world.  He is 40 years old. Luke is a short and skinny. He also has a thin moustache and even thinner hair on his head.  Luke wear a small, round, and frame-less glasses because his vision is not perfect.  Besides, Luke has many properties such as he always walks sideways.  The way he talks is very thin, subtle voice, so inaudible and he has never interpreted anybody.  He also has the deficiency that can not be obtained by other people when he can never manage more than two words without somebody interrupting him.  But he actually appears happy to have been able to other those two words.  Then, Luke also married for years.  His wife is a very thin, choleric, nervous woman, having an unbearably shrill voice, strong lungs.  She also have a finely drawn nose and a viperous tongue suffers from an uncontrolled temper and the personality of a lion tamer.  With their marriage, they have a child named by his mother, Juan Manuel.  He is tall, blond, intelligent, distrustful, sarcastic and has a fringe.  He also obeys to his mother.  Back to our story, Luke will goes to work dressed all in black, wearing a very old suit that shines from age.  Luke salary is ludicrously low, but he still stay behind in the office everyday and work for another three or four hours.  His tasks are so huge but he never complained and make his work perfectly.  Luke love to travels with the windows wide open.  Because of this, he has develop a chronic cough that often forces him to stay awake entire nights.  Therefore, Luke is a tiny, sedentary, squalid person and has never been interested in sports.  Luke also have a good nature and willingness to help people.  He prefers those who are always older than him and also to children.

QUESTION 1
Why do you think Luke's personality with people who are close to him (Luke wife, Juan Manuel and don Aquerontido) differ from the passengers on the bus?

-Luke personality with people are he is very kind and low self-esteem.  But he is have a bad attitude.  Refers to the he be a passengers on the bus, he pays with the largest number of small coins.  This situation is disturbs the driver who apart from having to pay attention to other cars, the traffic lights or anything else.  Luke also aggravates the problem by including in his payment and hold coin that keeps for the purpose and which is invariably returned to him.

QUESTION 2
Based on your experience, describe anyone in your life that shares similar characteristic with Luke.

-I have a friend who is Syira of her name.  Her characteristic is similar with Luke.  Syira have two attitudes in her life.  She can be a very kindness person and she also can be a bad person.  But Syira is not wearing a glasses.  Syira also short and skinny and has a chronic cough that force him to stay awake entire nights.  Her kindness towards people are she is very helpful with older and she always wants to give a donate to older.  But compare with her bad attitudes, she always want to sit in a first rom in the bus.  Because of this, many people who is older, children must have to stand up.  Therefore, this is my friend who is similar characteristic with Luke.

Write a letter to Luke advising him on how to be a better husband, father, employee and bus passenger.

-Dear Luke, I have read your full life story.  For me you are very good people but sometimes you also behaving badly.  So, I suggest that you should be a better husband for wife.  For example, you have to listen what your wife talks about something and when she have a problem, you have to solve that problem.  Secondly, you have to be a better father for your child.  For example, you have to show that you are very love his and you want he always happy.  Then, for employee, you have to be a responsible employee because with this action, your salary may be increase and you can bear your family with perfectly.  Lastly, you have to be a better bus passenger.  For example, you have to learn about how to respect other who is surrounding with us and make an action in the right situation.
